Photography Tips

August Photo Challenge – Sea, Sand and Shells

As always, we have set you a challenge on the blog to share or, even better, take a new photograph on a specific theme. The idea being to test your beach photography skills over the course of the month, and give you something to aim at.

We’ve not had so many entries into blue skies this month; probably because you have hopefully been sitting under them all enjoying the sunshine.

Our pics for the month are these two from Joy…

Joy Dehaney

Joy regularly features on the page and this blog with her stunning pictures. This is a wonderful shot of her husband in those blue skies actually flying a plane. To be honest, it would have been rude not to include it, if only for the skill involved in getting and staying up in those blue skies!

…with our second shot from Karen.

Karen Heath

This is such a crisp, and sharp image, with the buildings inย Calvi, Corsica presenting a beautiful contrast to that gorgeous sky, I had to include it for the way it makes us all feel we were there. Thanks for sharing with us Karen.

As it is the holiday season, we are giving you a little longer for our challenge, so we will be back again at the end of September. In the meantime, our new theme for you all is…wait for it….

SEA, SAND, AND SHELLS

Pop along to Facebook and share your pictures with us – we hope that even though not visiting the beach this summer will be able to share something a little different with us on this challenge. We’ve given you a few subjects to choose from this time, so let that imagination run wild.

If you do need a little bit of them, then we do have a few beach photography tips of the blog for you all from a few weeks ago. Why not see if this gives you a few tips, and some inspiration as well?

Good luck, and thanks for reading as always,

Helen
