March – Easter Egg Hunt

It’s nearly time for the Easter Bunny to do his annual rounds; dropping oval goodies into our bare baskets. So what better time of year is there to an Easter Egg hunt?! Probably none.

There are few childhood memories I cherish quite like scouring my parents’ pad for sweet surprises. Though one did always get inevitably missed then found years later in a state of terrible decay. To eliminate this issue, I suggest photographing the locations of said treats for maximum find-ability.

Here are some of my picture clues for this year’s hunt. I have shot these through a magnifying glass to make the game all the harder. See how many you can guess yourself!

Okay, I’ll put you out of your misery:

  • Bookshelf
  • Washing Machine
  • Cushion
  • Shower
  • Dog Bowl
  • Cutlery Drawer

The great thing about the photo egg hunt is that you can include all of your child’s favourite things; toys, sweets or even clothes. I don’t have children so unsurprisingly haven’t featured any of these things but the world (or the house) is your oyster!

Once you have snapped your locations, head to and order your prints. You can get stunning 7”x5” photos from just 17p each and these are the perfect size to fit into your child’s card.

So what are you waiting for? This is a fun photo project you can do without even leaving the home! Oh actually, you’ll need to go and buy the eggs. My bad.
